Solar production will first be routed to the home, if the system produced more than what is being consumed, then the excess energy will be routed/exported to the grid. Will be paid for each kWh exported as a form of bill credit. The rate paid is based on market and economic factors and is periodically adjusted. Members shall be provided a bill credit for any energy delivered to the Cooperative from the DG Facility at the Cooperative’s avoided cost.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Wood County Electric Cooperative, Inc. before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
