Net Excess Generation Notes

The Net Excess Generation Policy is only intended for residential properties that are owner occupied and single family, not to exceed a three family home.

The customer will receive an electric bill each month for the home's electric usage. The utility will take the kilowatt hours that the solar system produced and multiply it by their Power Supply rate (.068549) and apply a credit to the customer's bill. If the credit is maintained for two or more annual reconciliations, the customer can request the credit to be issued in the form of a check from the utility. The Power Supply rate is subject to change annually.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Pascoag Utility District before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
