Net Excess Generation Notes

Energy generated by the Net Metering Facility for a month that is in excess of the energy consumed by the Customer during such month shall offset future consumed energy at the customer applicable rate schedule until the February bill. Any Credits that remain unapplied to the Customer’s accounts at the February bill of each year shall be credited or paid to the Customer, at PUD’s election, no later than the billing cycle ending in March of that year. Credited at the Avoided Cost; The Avoided Cost Rate is: 3.83¢ per kWh

Site Plan Reqs

Documenting CRPUD meter location, system disconnect location, battery connection point, etc.

SLD Reqs

PUD shall provide and install a bi-directional meter to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction at PUD’s expense.

Showing all protective devices, CRPUD meter, etc. The disconnect device shall be located within ten feet of the PUD's bidirectional meter (or other location approved by PUD in writing) with provisions for a padlock.

Electric Service Reqs

Transformers upgrades are not typical. The vast majority of our solar PV systems are under 15 kW in size.

Placards

The disconnect switch shall be accessible to PUD's personnel at all times (24 hours per day / 365 days a year) and shall be labeled according to the generation type e.g. “Solar Panel Disconnect”. iii. The label shall be 1.5 inches high red laminated plastic with one-inch high white letters.
