**System Sizing**

Mt. Wheeler Power does not restrict the amount of System Production the system provides. But for Net Metering customers, they are only crediting the customer's account up to 120%

"Net Metering Program shall be available to Cooperative’s Customers until the combination of all Customer-owned generating systems exceed 120 kW (0.1% of peak system Demand) or until Cooperative limits interconnections to a prescribed amount of kW in excess of 120 kW. "

**AC Disconnect:**

* Must provide a Disconnect Switch (Visible Open Disconnect Switch) that meets applicable ANSI, IEEE, UL and local governmental and Cooperative standards.

* Disconnect must be accessible to Cooperative personnel at all times, and Cooperative personnel must be allowed to padlock it in the OPEN position at any time for any reason.

* Disconnect Switch must be located on the exterior of the building, preferably adjacent to the electrical service entrance equipment.

* Disconnect Switch must be permanently and visibly marked as "Generated Disconnect" in letters at least 2" high.

* If the Disconnect Switch is not adjacent to the electrical service entrance equipment, a permanent/weather resistant map shall be installed at the location detailing where the Disconnect Switch is located.

**Taps: **

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Mt. Wheeler Power before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
