If the energy supplied by the customer generator exceeds the amount of energy supplied by the Company, the net Kwh shall be credited to the customer’s next monthly bill. The balance of the energy generated shall appear as a credit on the customer’s account until the customer’s consumption offsets the credit or the end of the designated 12-month billing period, which ever occurs first. At the end of the 12-month period any unused Kwh credit accumulated during the previous 12-months will be granted to the Company with no compensation to the customer. The customer shall designate the start date of the 12-month billing period as January 1, April 1, July 1 or October 1.

  • Service line, Meter, Load centers, Inverters, Generators and Disconnect Switch
Electric Service Reqs

Disconnect Required:

  • Must include a disconnect device.
  • Disconnect device shall be capable of isolating the small generation facility from the distribution system.
  • Must allow for a visible break and must have the ability to be locked open.
  • Location shall be within ten feet of the utility meter unless special permission is granted by the utility.
