If the amount of electricity produced by the Member exceeds the amount of electricity used by the Member during any point in time, the cooperative will provide a bill credit in an amount equal to .051 $/kwh for each kilowatt of energy supplied to the Cooperative. The rate will be evaluated annually corresponding with changes to energy and demand costs of the cooperative.

This bill credit will sum during the Applicable Billing Period and be provided as a credit to that bill. In the event the credit exceeds the Members cost of energy for the Applicable Billing Period the Minimum Monthly Charges will apply.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Corn Belt Energy Corporation before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
