System Offset Notes

Must be properly sized to not exceed the customers expected annual usage based on the customers current needs. Customer’s energy usage will be analyzed using 36-months of historical energy usage (if available) in order to calculate the customer’s expected annual usage. If a customer provides documentation specifying why the usage has increased over that time, such as home renovation/addition or installation of electric heating or an electric vehicle charging station on the premises, then the previous 12-month period shall be used to determine the average for the expected annual usage.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with City of Mascoutah before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
