Physical Isolation Requirements - the city has two options, listed below:

Installation of a disconnect switch.

  • Device shall be located adjacent to, and on the same wall as the location meter.
  • Must be labeled per the current version of the NEC

Utilization of the NET meter

  • Utilization of the net meter as the physical isolation by allowing city employees to remove the net meter any time the physical isolation of the PV system is required.
