Net Excess Generation Notes
  • All kWh received from the customer by the Cooperative (Excess Generation) will be credited on the monthly customer bill by the Cooperative at the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) approved AER.
  • The credit shall be applied against the Cooperative monthly charges. No Excess Generation shall be “banked,” “saved” or “rolled forward” for use in a future month.
  • In the event the credit exceeds the amount due the Cooperative (Excess Credits), the credit shall be rolled forward and applied against subsequent Cooperative bills until used.

  • The AC disconnect must be within 6’ of the utility meter and main. The distance must be shown on the site plan.

Disconnect Switch

  • Label as “Interconnected Utility Disconnect Switch” or “[System Type] Utility Disconnect Switch” (e.g., Photovoltaic Inverter Utility Disconnect Switch).
  • Label must be on a permanent placard with clear, durable lettering.

Breaker Panels

  • Customer must label all panels or devices that can be back-fed by the generator, per National Electric Code.
  • The Utility will label any of its own equipment.

Service Entrance

  • Place a sign at the service entrance showing the type and location of any onsite emergency, standby, or optional power sources as defined by the Utility.
