The solar permit application for 1408 Paint Brush Ct cannot be approved. Per the city’s zoning regulations, ground-mount solar arrays are only allowed on Industrial or Agricultural zoned properties consisting of at least 5 acres. Sec. 11-4. - Ground mounted solar energy systems. (a) Permitted use. Ground mounted solar panel systems shall be allowed by right on tracts of land with a minimum five acres in the agricultural district (A), and industrial district (I). (b) Use prohibited in other districts. Except as provided in subsection (a) of this section, ground mounted solar systems shall not be permitted in the city.
