Structural Notes

• BATTERY PROJECTS REQUIRE CALCS OF MOUNTING ON WALL FOR ESS
• The seal must include the signature, expiration date and date which seal was signed
• Structural Engineer’s Stamp must be dated in accordance with the State of Nevada Engineer’s Board
• Ensure structural calcs DO NOT reference ASCE 7-10 on pages 4 and 5. Structural calcs need to cite ASCE 7-16
• Engineer to evaluate attachment requirements (lag screws) and specify minimum size and embedment
• PE calcs must provide calculations for the anchorage (lag screws)
• PE calcs must include seismic analysis
• Structural calculations and plans must be stamped by the same structural engineer. This includes revisions.

Non Standard Revision Requirements

• Do not rev cloud changes on plans if the permit has not been submitted yet. Rev clouds will still be needed for any revisions to the plans after the permit has been submitted for the first review. 
• All changes to plans are required to be clouded with a Delta indicating the revision number and date the change was made.
• Revision letter must be detailed, cannot submit revision letters that only state "layout changed" or similar.
• A response letter, addressing all comments, must be submitted. The letter needs to list the hold comments and respond to the hold comments made by the building department.
• Only respond to the current hold comments made. Remove the 1st round of hold comments from the letter.
• If you are adding revision to the response letter, please add that under the response to the hold comments. Add a header of REVISION and list the revision under that.
• The letter must be submitted in PDF format.
• All other documents have been accepted. Do NOT upload again.
