- Ground Mount Notes
Grounds screws are allowed but require special inspections per the listing. Considerations for ground mounts include the location of both the septic and well, and the setbacks from both that are required. There is no one size fits all requirement for these setbacks because we have various types of systems with differing setbacks. If you have a specific property that you are working on we can supply you with a copy of our plot plan with the septic location and a list of the appropriate setbacks for that system. In regards to plan submittals we require that all plot plans have the septic and well indicated and the distances to the solar array be marked. Beyond plot plans and locations we have a few other things we require; no driving/storing materials on the leach field and no trenching through the leach field/repair area/sand filter. When the project is within a special flood hazard zone, the electrical panels and equipment must be at least 5 feet above the highest adjacent grade. ****For requesting septic map / plot plans**** * **** * **Community Development & Seervices Agency** * **Yuba County Environmental Health**
