  • Show compliance that the PV System's fire classification must be class A roofing material per sections R902.3 pr R904.4
  • All equipment shall be listed and labeled by a recognized testing laboratory. Provide documents that the racking conforms to and are listed under UL 2703. Provide documents that inverter is listed under UL 1741
  • For Projects under 10KW, Fill out Eligibility checklist, Structural Criteria, and Standard Plan. (Attached below). Expedite packet, not required for jobs with an existing system. Structural Criteria packet not required when using truss
  • Structural Criteria (required for design to complete) packet allows 6' anchor spans for Rafters ONLY. Rafters will pass without site specific engineering. Framing. Order structural stamps to span 6' for plated wood trusses
  • Attach documentpv_power_source_labeling.pdf to every single plan set.

MPU

  • Provide spec sheet for new main panel

EXISTING SYSTEM

  • Provide structural calcs signed by PE considering the load for both systems (total loads of existing & New)
  • Provide permit # for existing solar system (this can be obtained via permit research ticket)

EV CHARGER

  • Panel schedule required.
  • Electrical load calcs required. Clarify all the loads and consider the EV charger.
  • The coupling means shall be stored or located at a height of not less than 450mm (18in) above the floor level for indoor locations and 600mm, 924in) above the grade level for outdoor locations.
  • Equipment shall have a listed system of protection
  • Clarify if you hardwired the charger or using receptacle
  • Add spec sheet for specific generation of EV Charger

SUB-PANEL

  • Clarify number and size of wires relocated from main panel to load center panel
  • Clarify conduit size used to relocate the wires and % of conduit fill
