Informational: All solar installations must include a disconnect switch located within 10 feet of the inverter and within direct line of sight. This disconnect may be integrated into a load center or subpanel (not BUI). If the inverter is adjacent to the main service panel, an additional AC disconnect is not required. However, if the inverter is not within line of sight from the MSP, a disconnect must be installed within 10 feet of the inverter.
