Please make sure there is a disconnecting means at least 10ft.
If you are spacing the BOS please show the distance with a written measurement and supplemental note.
If you are more than 10ft a additional disconnect should be utilized.
If MSP is in backyard and over 10ft / out of line of site (including fences), 2nd AC disconnect is required near the MSP.
If you have the inverter behind the fence/gate, but your production meter and AC disconnect are in front by the msp, you will need an additional disconnect on the inverter side of the fence/gate.
Modules are required to be UL 1703 or 2703 listed. Add UL 2703 compliance PDF attached below.
Include pictures of MSP with deadfront. Photos must be clear - with all breakers identified and breaker size showing

ALL JOBS:
- 1-line and 3-line Diagram Required Must show correct fed direction on MSP. (If top fed, for instance, must show breaker on top).
- Only one PV breaker is allowed on a busbar provide a note on plans if consolidating breakers to make room for POI
- If using tandem breakers, please provide a clear picture of the entire panel label to verify tandem breakers are allowed.
DERATE
- CALCS AND PANEL SCHEDULE FOR DERATING OF the MAIN BREAKER (In the file section is a excel template you can use to create a Panel Schedule)
MPU
- If doing an MPU, Model number and spec sheets are required
- The following Solar Ready MSP can be use in Peoria: MC2442S1200SC or MC4040S1200SC
- RELOCATING LOADS:
- If relocating loads to a sub panel, load calcs and panel schedule for the sub are required. (In the file section is a excel template you can use to create a Panel Schedule) If the sub panel is strictly for the relocation of existing loads to make room for the PV breaker, notate on the plans.
- There should also be a label on the new sub panel that states "no loads to be added".
- All circuits in panel, even if not being used at this time, must be included in electrical load calculations.
- Please indicate the distance from the main panel to the new sub-panel. If over 24", please show how conductors will comply with E3705.3
TAPS
- All taps require permission letter/email from utility company
- Provide data sheet for tap connectors Please specify how tap will comply with 2017 NEC 240.21(B) as related to feeder tap length.
- Please state what section you will comply with.
